While the world is slowing down in wake of the new COVID-19 variant, Dubai is showing no signs of shutting down and has entered the rat race only to come out the other end thriving.

Amid the tier 4 lockdown and restrictions in England, people are flocking down to the UAE in packs to ditch the movement restrictions and plummeting weather for sunny shores and the freedom to roam about the city as you please.

People are swooping down upon the city to enjoy the many luxuries that the emirate has to offer, e.g. world-class restos, DSF sales, stunning hotels, multistoreyy shopping malls, brunches galore and bars operating till wee hours of the night!

And ALL that quarantine-free because the UAE has been officially put into an ‘air-bridge’ with the UK… so that means you can roam like the free-willed bird that you are!

I mean whooo would not want to get away from all those restrictions and enter this Disneyland of a city only to skip out on the quarantine altogether and gain some sense of pre-2020 normalcy?!

Dubai is open for business and welcoming tourists back with open arms! BUT with all vital COVID-19 regulations still very much in place

Visitors and expats are free to bustle around the city as they please, as long as they abide by the non-invasive precautions like wearing a face mask at all times when in public areas, keeping a social distance and complying to temp checks (which have recently been discontinued).

However, flouting these strict safety measures will most definitely lead to hefty fines and punishments.

It feels like the whole world is in Dubai right now and those not here, are feeling FOMO like none other!
