UAE Citizens Can Travel Visa-Free To This European Country

Fancy a trip to Europe? Well, UAE citizens can pack their bags and head to Bosnia & Herzegovina visa-free!

UAE and Bosnia & Herzegovina just made life easier for travelers

UAE citizens, to be precise. On Monday, the UAE and Bosnia & Herzegovina signed an MoU for mutual visa exemption. According to the agreement, citizens holding passports from both nations can enjoy visa-free travel for purposes such as tourism, business, and short-term visits. This move is anticipated to not only promote cultural exchange but also stimulate economic development and bolster tourism ties between the two countries. It’s a win-win for both!

Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashemy, the Minister of State for International Cooperation, and Elmedin Konaković, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, put their signatures on the agreement. Among the attendees were notable figures, including Zlatan Burzić, Director of the Bosnian Minister of Foreign Affairs office, and Mirela Bubalo, Counsellor for the Bosnian Minister of Foreign Affairs. Both sides highlighted the significant role of the MoU in fortifying their bilateral ties, emphasizing its importance.

This is no surprise here, UAE has one of the best passports in the world!

As of July 2023, the UAE passport proudly claimed the first position on the global stage, as per Arton Capital’s Passport Index. Holders of the UAE passport can enjoy access to an impressive 180 countries, with 127 of them offering visa-free travel and 53 providing eVisa or visa on arrival at the airport.
