The UAE government has sent out an important update for school kids, their parents and school teachers. School-going children will still have to continue with online classes in the first month of next year.
Starting January 3, 2021, all public schools will have to follow e-learning for all students for two weeks. Instructions have come in straight from The Ministry of Education who also said that more information regarding the opening up of face-to-face classes will follow after proper evaluations have been made of “the health situation and developments”.

Teachers and other administrative staff should only attend the schools at 50% capacity. So, the other half can work from home. It was also announced that the online learning hours will be set up according to the school schedules.
These rules were rolled out only for public school students. Students of private schools will return to face-to-face classes next week.
A lot of these students will be back to face-to-face classes after a gap of nearly 10 months!
