UAE residents could get a 4 or 5-day break for Eid Al Fitr this year

The UAE moon-sighting committee will convene to confirm the official starting date for Eid. Ramadan is either 29 or 30 days long and it began on April 2 with the month being 30 days long. Time to do some math.

If Ramadan is 30 days long this year, the first day of Eid will be on May 2 which gives UAE residents will a 5-day break from Saturday April 30, to Wednesday May 4. But if Ramadan lasts for 29 days (Eid being May 1), residents will get a 4-day break from Saturday April 30, until Tuesday, May 3.

Whether it’s 4 or 5 days, that’s a pretty lengthy vacation and the perfect amount of time to unwind!
