World Leaders Stress The Urgent Need To Protect Civilians & Create Safe Corridors For Aid

UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and US President Joe Biden underscored the vital importance of prioritizing the safety of civilians amidst the ongoing Israel-Gaza conflict.

On Wednesday, the two leaders engaged in a phone conversation, discussing current regional developments and collaborative efforts

They explored ways to manage the current situation in the face of rising violence and escalating tensions, which pose significant threats to regional security and stability.

Additionally, they talked about the importance of establishing secure pathways for delivering humanitarian aid and called for coordination among both regional and international stakeholders to encourage restraint and an immediate de-escalation of the situation.

A few days back, UAE, Italy & Spain foreign ministers discussed regional de-escalation efforts

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, spoke separately with Italy’s Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani and Spain’s Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares Bueno to work on diffusing tensions between Palestinian and Israeli factions. They emphasized the importance of de-escalation to maintain regional security and agreed to maintain ongoing communication and coordination during this crisis.
