Fans Are Witnessing Withdrawal Symptoms After Yesterday’s IndVNz Match Left Many Devastated

Avatar

There is no greater loss for Indians all over the world than when the Indian cricket team gets defeated in a match. The fever from last night’s India Vs New Zealand match has still not worn off as Indian cricket fans are DEVASTATED over last night’s turnout.

The on point fielding by the New Zealand cricket team alongside their precise bowling had thrown the Indian team off guard, although the two powerhouse players Ravindra Jadeja and Mahendra Singh Dhoni had tried their level best to carry the game on their shoulders after the collapse of the top order.

Dhoni and Jadeja attempted to chase New Zealand’s 240 runs for victory but were not able to and ended up being defeated in the first round of the semi-finals which had led to New Zealand’s deserving victory.

Fans were left heartbroken that it only took 45 minutes of bad cricket in an otherwise ON FLEEK streak to put the team out of the championship.

This had triggered almost everyone’s feels and people took it to Twitter to vent out their frustration, low-spirits and even their support to the team consoling the players on their defeat.

A significant tweet! India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted out in support of the Indian cricket team

Could somebody pass the pain killers please? Nothing hurts more than this

Apart from the intense frustration, fans in Dubai have shown nothing but support to the Indian cricket team

The raw emotion from the team was heartbreaking to watch

Even Indian politicians expressed their support for the team

The two captains (Virat Kohli and Kane Williamson) of the respective teams gave statements to the press regarding the game and this is what they had to say.

Kane Williamson has also reached out to Indian cricket lovers and has praised them on their passionate support towards the Indian team and is hoping for them to support NZ in the upcoming rounds!

“It’s difficult to accept, it’s difficult to come to terms with, but, look, New Zealand deserve it.”

Both the captains had shown immense respect towards each other! This is what you call great sportsmanship

The game maybe over for team India but there’s always a next time. Also, this has been rumored to be MS Dhoni’s last world cup before retirement
