A coffee brand claiming to aid weight-loss has been pulled from stores by Dubai Municipality for being harmful. Idol Slim Coffee, made in Thailand, contains a harmful ingredient called Sibutramine. The product was introduced in 1997 to help individuals lose weight but was banned internationally by 2010 for its cardiovascular risks.

Dubai Municipality announced on Facebook that the product has been removed from stores in Dubai
