6 Of The Hottest French Restaurants Where You Can Dine And Dance The Night Away In Dubai

Avatar

In a seemingly endless melting pot of restaurants, bars and nightclubs in Dubai, finding a place that not only whips up finger-licking French food but also hosts a great evening with awesome music might seem like a daunting task!

And no, we aren’t talking about nightclubs. They are a thing of 2016!

We, here at LD, love places where you can dine and sing or dine and dance or simply dine and have a great evening. 2018 is all about ‘dinentertainment’ where a night out means you get everything at ONE place.

Whether it’s a party of two or a group of friends looking to jam out to cool music, we’ve rounded up some of the best French restaurants with killer evening scenes.

1. Pierre’s Bistro & Bar

When a renowned chef with three Michelin stars and truck loads of experience under his repertoire helms a restaurant that’s both a bistro and a lounge, you know it’s bound to be spectacular.

Pierre Gagnaire started Pierre’s Bistro in April this year and the restaurant has garnered some rave reviews in just a month. The laid-back vibes teamed with a luxurious setting, a simple menu but complex dishes, and a joyful vibe with a DJ dishing out some trendy tunes along with live entertainment are some of the reasons why this place ranks VERY, VERY high in our books.

It’s a one-stop-shop to your night out!

Location: Pierre’s Bistro & Bar at the InterContinental Dubai Festival City Mall
Timings: 6.30pm onwards from Mondays to Saturdays
Offers: Ladies only Suhoor every Wednesday from 9.30pm to 3am, for AED 150 set menu including 4 appetizers, 4 sweets, water, coffee and tea.

2. Bistrot Bagatelle

Behind white falls and sophisticated interiors lie a French restaurant that serves some of the most decadent dishes, reminiscent of a very 1920s Parisian bistro, but the moment the clock strikes 10, the place transforms into a joyous party where everyone, including the servers, are seen shaking a leg.

Their fois gras sliders and pan-seared sea bass are pretty spectacular, the sharing concept of desserts keep things interesting and their portions make our hearts happy.

This one’s simple unmissable.

Location:The Fairmont Dubai, Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai
Timings: 8pm to 2am

3. La Cantine Du Faubourg

One of the elegant restaurants of the city, La Cantine aims to give a multi-sensory experience to their patrons. It scores extremely high on location, atmosphere and décor, and the traditional French fare is equally fabulous to boot.

It has a beautiful garden terrace with views fit for your Instagram. The chic venue gets livelier as the night goes on. Oh, and did we mention the servers will be seen wearing silk pajamas! The place is a heady mix of decadence, elegance and comfort, and you MUST book a table, like, right now!

Location: Jumeirah Emirates Towers, Sheikh Zayed Road
Timings: 12pm to 2am from Sunday to Wednesday, 12pm to 3am on Thursday – Friday and 12pm to 5pm then 7pm to 2am on Saturday

4. La Parisienne at La Serre Boulangerie

One of the only French-Mediterranean restaurants located in the heart of Downtown Dubai, it’s hard not to be impressed with this new location. It’s an authentic Parisian-style boulangerie and café on the ground floor, with a chic bistro on the first floor.

La Parisienne is a new night on Wednesday’s at La Serre, with cheese table and a DJ supported by a great al la carte menu.

It’s a delightfully bougie spot but a relaxed evening with great music coupled with freshest French dishes will more than make up for it.

Location: Vida Downtown, Downtown Dubai
Timings: Wednesday’s from 7pm

5. Maison Rouge

If YOLO is your mantra for life then look no further than Maison Rogue located at the Conrad.

It’s a beautiful juxtaposition of culinary innovation with show stopping performances including cabarets, dance acts and immersive music by the DJ. It’s a destination unlike any other replete with plush red decor and larger-than-life ambiance.

As with everything about this place, the menu includes a bit of drama with molecular gastronomy and signature dishes made to please both your eyes and taste buds. The food is more European than French and packs quite a punch with its flavours and taste.

A must visit for the experience alone!

Location: Conrad Hotel, Sheikh Zayed Road
Timings: 8pm to 3am

6. Chez Charles

Holding your own among some of the most revered restaurants in Dubai Design District might seem challenging, but props to Chez Charles for carving a niche in a relatively short time since it opened last year.

The restaurant is utterly contemporary, French-inspired with gorgeous decor that becomes oh so romantic at sundowner. The atmosphere is buzzy, the mood relaxed and it starts becoming more joyous as the time ticks by.

If the setting is lovely, the food is even lovelier. Its Burgundy Snails à la Provençale might just be the best snails you’ll ever have, oh, and desserts? Absolute perfection!

You cannot not try out this one!

Location: D3
Timings: 12pm to 12am
