Sharwama Drama As 45% Of Dubai Outlets Are Set To Close

Avatar

It’s a staple in the diet of pretty much every Dubai resident. From 1 November, Dubai Municipality is enforcing new rules on the sale of the shawarma. A six-month deadline has been given to almost 45 per cent, that’s roughly 570, of food outlets selling shawarma across the city. 318 of these outlets have began making changes to their health and safety conditions in order to meet the new guidelines. 113 have stopped selling shawarmas completely, whilst 141 have taken no action to meet the requirements of health and safety. Say it isn’t so, we falafel!
