10 Private Facilities Are Offering Free Healthcare To Individuals Who Can’t Afford It

Avatar

In favour of the Year of Giving, Dubai Health Authority will provide free treatment to those who are incapable of affording them.

A wider variety of services will be made available to them as well by making them more affordable at private clinics and hospitals.

The new initiative Ataa’ wa Saa’da, which translates in English to Giving and Happiness, has been created in partnership with the private sector of the country to support those who are less fortunate – whether financially, psychologically or socially.

Who’s involved

DHA has already collaborated with 10 private facilities to push the initiative, with the likelihood of the number increasing to 26 soon enough.

Ataa’ wa Saa’da came from the result of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s announcement of declaring 2017 as the Year of Giving in the UAE – thus making it one of their 30 initiatives that they plan on implementing.
