High Joint Is A Tiny New Burger Spot And It’s A Serious Contender For Best Burger In Dubai

High Joint is new to the Dubai foodie scene and it’s breaking all the rules.

Located off the beaten track, in a totally non-descript street in Jumeirah, once you find the street you’ll easily spot the neon ‘High Joint’ sign, tucked between an old laundrette and a little bakery that looks like it’s been there since the start of time.

It’s tiny

Like teeny-tiny. High Joint can squeeze five bar stools at a push, the graffiti covered benches and walls give the homegrown eatery a cosy feel. It was originally meant as delivery only, but a couple of weeks in and word of mouth spread. People started turning up to try the burgers, and an indoor eatery was born.

What’s your favourite burger spot in Dubai? Lovin Dubai make top burger lists every now and then and they’re always cause for much debate… People genuinely feel strongly about where does the best burger.

Slider Station, Salt, Shake Shack, Five Guys, Elevation Burger consistently top the lists, and it might be hard for a new spot to break through and make a name for itself.

But High Joint is a serious contender for best burger in Dubai. The patties are freshly minced every day with a custom blend using angus that’s hormone and antibiotic free, the owner has been working on the flavour combos and perfecting the burger for 15 YEARS and High Joint is the result.

The menu is simple

Three types of fries AED10 for high fries AED22 for loaded fries

Four beef burgers from AED35

Two chicken burgers AED35

Four types of wings AED18 for three / AED28 for six

The burgers are juicy and not to sound like a cliche, but it’s all finger licking good

Go for the signature loaded fries, topped with parsley, homemade ranch, extra crispy bacon bits, chives and high sauce (YUM).

For burgers, if you like a good rich beef burger that literally drips, you need to try the ‘Millionaire’s High,’ a premium burger with Provolone cheese, portobello tempura, pickled onions and high truffle mayo. This is the BOMB for AED45.
