A New Observation Deck Is Being Built On UAE’s Highest Peak And The Views Are Going To Be Spectacular
Jebel Jais in Ras Al Khamiah is set to get a big observation deck in October, the RAK Tourism Development Authority has announced.
Sitting 1,300m above sea level, the deck will offer sweeping views from the UAE’s highest peak, with solar powered panels powering the lighting on the decking.
The deck will also be designed to serve as a base camp for hikers and bikers looking to explore the mountains, with a multi-purpose events arena, picnic areas, a food truck zone and walking paths.
