Restaurants and bars in Beirut are at their best when they are open aired, either outdoor spaces or with the roof off. When Al Falamanki opened a few months ago in Jumeirah, it immediately attracted a loyal following of Lebanese people, locals and just those who appreciate good Lebanese food. Now they have opened their outdoor garden area, such a focal point of the original restaurant in Achrafieh in Beirut, here in Dubai.
It’s situated opposite The Four Seasons Hotel in Jumeriah, you will feel like you are in the old streets of Beirut, and the restaurant is just as good minus the beer and arak.
You’ll see people spending hours there playing traditional games there. The space that seats 300. They serve their signature dishes such as ‘Khalil’s Saj’, a Lebanese blend of thyme topped with Khalil’s cheese and vegetables, made famous with Al Falamanki’s delicious Saj dough, which uses only the finest whole grain and contains no sugar, oil or milk for a taste guests won’t find anywhere else.
Oh and it’s open from 10am until 5am.
It’s called, “Dekkanet Al Falamanki”, a small store offering traditional village products in the heart of the city. In the Dekkanet, diners will find 100% natural and exquisite spices, olive oil, a variety of jam flavors, pickles, organic soap and herbs that preserve the spirit of authentic Lebanese offerings.
