Spotted in Dubai!

Avatar

Our Lovin’ paparazzi (a.k.a serial online celeb stalkers) have been out in force this week and came across these famous folk enjoying the Dubai sunshine and bright lights…

Tennis Players…

Last Saturday marked the final of the DDF Tennis Championships, however Djokovic, Wawrinka and pals have managed to set some time aside to see what else Dubai has to offer.  Eventual winner Stan Wawrinka opted to keep his adrenaline pumping by taking on the Xline, Kyrgios set aside some time to have a laugh with fans…and I think Djokovic may now be reserving his water slide antics for after the tournament after retiring with an eye injury in the Quarter Final (maybe wear goggles next time Novak!

Cricketer…

Kevin Pietersen isn’t loved by everyone in his (adopted) home country but he seems to have loved his time in Dubai for the PSL – don’t worry Kev you’re always welcome back here!

DJs & Singers…

The music scene in Dubai this week was as eclectic and varied as the food on offer in the Mall Food Hall. From Sting and David Gray’s relaxing melodies to Hardwell and Tiesto entertaining the ravers we had it all covered this week – showing there’s always something for your mum, dad, best mate and wife in Dubai! Robin Schluz even had time for desert Safari!

Actresses…

Everyone comes to Dubai for a different reason and for Miss Universe 2006 it was to…try on a massive hat. Hat’s off to you Jacqueline!

And Tamara Ecclestone…

Tamara has found a way to avoid talk of the boring F1, and what better way than to go somewhere where the word boring has never been uttered (to our knowledge!) – Atlantis.

Until next week…

If you spot any celebs in Dubai, drop us a line and we will include your pictures in our roundups! Rumour has it Wayne Rooney is enroute, what are your bets on what he will get up to.. Barasti? Brunch at Saffron? Standard shot with the Burj Khalifa? Snapped playing with tigers?

Kris Jenner’s ‘Big Announcement’ In Dubai Wasn’t Actually That Big At All

Avatar

Dubai has seen many celebrities coming and going over the past few weeks and this week has been no different – here’s our round up from the World’s Largest Athlete to the world’s most famous reality mother.

Kris Jenner…

Kardashian momager, Kris Jenner has been teasing us about an upcoming announcement for the past few weeks and she finally made the big reveal at a very VIP press conference at Four Seasons Dubai on Sunday. Kris announced her new role as chairwoman of the Legacy business school in New York, opening this September, and later the opening of another school here in the UAE. Kris kept journalists waiting for 40 minutes before the conference and then made a hasty exit, kar-dashing off to a private lunch with boyfriend Corey Gamble. We think this supermum is entitled to some time off though so we don’t mind!

Amanda Holden…

A ‘wheely happy’ Amanda Holden has been acrobat-ing her way round Dubai this week and admiring the huge billboards advertising Britain’s Got Talent as she goes.

Tommy Hilfiger…

A very suave looking Tommy Hilfiger stopped in Dubai for a retail meeting and posted a pic for his fans in front of the Burj Khalifa. Tommy is a huge fan of Dubai, we think he should move here but we’re sure Hilfiger that out in time…

2 Chainz…

Rapper 2 Chainz is in town chilling…or cooling to quote the man himself in Cavalli Club’s ice bar. When in Rome…

Flavio Briatore

The ex-manager of the Renault F1 team was in town…sparks were flying at the Billionaire Mansion. We think a few fireworks are needed in this seasons F1 to liven it up a little.

Kyle Christie…

Geordie Shore’s Kyle Christie decided to make a last minute trip to Dubai to get some relax and rejuvenation time (and perhaps also show off his newly improved nose). So far he’s hit up some of the cities most popular tourist spots including the aquarium at Atlantis and The Burj Khalifa – here he is ‘mixing with the locals’…although we should point out that he is ‘mixing’ with DJ Adam Christie, who is from Newcastle not Dubai…close enough.

Natalya Wright and Alicia Fox…

WWE superstars Nattie and Alicia Fox have been in the city for WWE Live. They are the first women ever to tour with WWE to Dubai due to the strict laws regarding women and us girls at LD think they did us proud #girlpower

We know wrestlers are tough but Natalya and Alicia obviously aren’t too accustomed to Dubai’s roads…GET OUT OF THE ROAD LADIES!

The Big Show…

Dubai loves big things so it was great to see the “World’s Largest Athlete” over here. We are gutted he didn’t have a picture next to the Burj so we could compare.

Bigshow

Sami Zayn & Kalisto…

Two wrestlers that did take in a few of the sites whilst out here were Sami Zayn and Kalisto. We’ve got an idea for next time – Royal Rumble at the top of the Burj…second thoughts, maybe not.

Samizayn

Ola Al Fares…

Jordanian journalist and MBC anchor Ola Al Fares was in Dubai for a ‘reunion with the girls’. We can recommend a few decent ladies’ nights for you Ola…just ask us next time.

Jasmine Thompson…

Singer / songwriter Jasmine Thompson hasn’t arrived yet but she tweeted to say she will be here performing on the same stage as Rudimental and Disclosure at the Dubai Ampitheatre in Media City next weekend. We’ll be Waiting all Night for you Jas!
