It’s not everyday you see a tiger wearing between cars at the traffic lights. That’s exactly what happened on Tuesday in Doha, much to the surprise of motorists. The brave animal eventually took shelter under a car, only to be coerced out and returned to safety. It’s unclear whether the tiger came from a zoo, but as we have seen in Dubai, it’s not uncommon to have wild animals as pets in the GCC. 

This incident was picked up on social media in Qatar.

Yesterday it was a tiger, and today it’s a bull.

Only one day after that excitement, Facebook user Kat Jimenez spotted a bull running wild on the highway. What will we get tomorrow?
