And, considering the global brand the airline has become in a period of decades, this emotion feels pretty accurate to many people.

Sultan Al Qassemi, an Emirati art collector and columnist, also agreed with the sentiment and shared a heartwarming story of what the airline has meant to him for several years, particularly when he’d live abroad.
