A ‘Drone Hunter’ Has Been Unleashed To Keep Dubai Airport Open

This year alone, Lovin Dubai has reported three separate incidents (one, two, three) of drones in the airspace causing closure (there have been four in total). According to CNN money, ‘During the most recent closure, which lasted for 90 minutes on Oct. 29, 22 flights had to be diverted to other airports. Each shutdown costs the airport about $1 million a minute.’ The drone hunter tracks down the intrusion, then sends the GPS coordinates of the drone operates to the police.
