Now, for the VIP treatment… The luxury suite for the ultimate hospital experience could cost you a jaw-dropping AED 21,000!

And then there’s the epidural… AED 3K?

Depending on where you’re giving birth, it could add up to more than AED 3,000!

Now, before you completely lose it, let’s calm down.

The good news is that the mom in question didn’t end up paying anywhere near that whopping AED 30K. Thanks to her insurance, she paid around AED 9,000 for the entire 3-day stay.

So if you’ve got insurance, you’re in a better place, but don’t get too comfy just yet. You should know that the epidural isn’t usually not covered by insurance. So, if you’re planning on having one, make sure your wallet is ready for that extra cost.
