An Asian passenger was allegedly caught smuggling into Dubai International Airport a green substance which he claimed was henna powder. The man had grinded it and concealed it in plastic bags.
When the passenger was subjected to a manual search, he displayed signs of confusion. The powder was allegedly suspected to be 8.9 kilograms of marijuana.
Custom inspectors immediately confiscated the drugs and the passenger was handed over to the General Directorate of Anti-Narcotics at Dubai Police.
