Emirates A380 fights, you know those super boujee ones with its first-class’ onboard shower, will no longer have shower attendants on flights to the UK.

Why, you ask? Emirates told local news Khaleej Times and confirmed that this is due to an order from the UK Border Control since they don’t have the same training as flight attendants nor do they have flying licenses and special visas as members of the cabin and flight crew.

So the Emirates Shower Spas will not have dedicated shower attendants, however; the in-flight showers will remain for the first-class aboard Emirates.

In case you didn’t know, Emirates has an in-flight shower perk for its first-class passengers on specific airbuses

Each passenger with a first-class seat can book a maximum time of 30 minutes to shower and enjoy the exclusive products available only to them.
