A Team Of Abu Dhabi Doctors Found And Successfully Removed 21 Magnets From A Young Baby’s Stomach
A 23-month-old-baby has thankfully come through a successful operation involving a team of doctors removing 21 magnets from it’s stomach.
The emergency operation took place in Tawam Hospital, Al Ain, after the baby was admitted to hospital and examinations proved it had somehow ingested the magnets.
The baby, who had several gastrointestinal tears between the stomach, colon and intestines according to local reports, has been discharged following the operation.
