Today’s Explosion In Abu Dhabi Has Tragically Claimed The Lives Of 3 People
Thought to be caused by drones, authorities have begun an extensive investigation into the fires which resulted in explosions in Abu Dhabi today.
Abu Dhabi Police confirmed that a fire broke out this morning, which led to the explosion of three petroleum tankers in ICAD 3, Mussafah, near ADNOC’s storage tanks.
A spokesperson told Alarabiya that claims Houthis are connected to the damages are untrue and people should only believe official government announcements. The fires have been brought under control, however, the accident resulted in the death of a Pakistani and two Indian nationals, and 6 others sustained moderate injuries.
Thoughts and prayers with all affected at this time.
