Heavy dust storm, winds and rain lashed certain parts of Dubai yesterday.
The unpredictable weather caused quite a chaos with uprooted trees disrupting the traffic, and the power going out in MOE yesterday.
And now Khaleej Times is reporting that a total of 252 traffic accidents were reported in Dubai on Friday.
According Col Turki bin Abdul Aziz, director of command and control section of the Dubai Police, at least 58 trees were also uprooted due to the heavy winds.

It’s being reported that two women were injured after a tree fell over near their residence in Al Khawaneej area. In another report, a car dashed into a concrete barrier but the passengers escaped unharmed.
Police patrols deployed across Dubai roads did a great job of clearing the traffic after the accidents.
