Once again, Dubai Airports was forced to close down its airspace earlier this morning following unauthorised drone activity.
This is not the first time a drone has caused delay at the busy airport. Earlier this year, an unauthorised drone was found on the runway which also caused delays to flight schedules.
Dubai Airports have stated that the closure has resulted in a number of flight delays, with full operations taking nearly an hour to ensure the security of all travellers.
Arrivals resumed at 0835 & departures at 0840 with full operations resuming at 0907. We are working to minimise inconvenience. 2/3
