As the weather slowly but surely inches towards the dreaded 50°C across the Emirates, we need to begin prepping up for the hottest season of the year (so packing extra deo and avoiding the outdoors for extended lengths is advised).

The highest recorded temperature yesterday was 48.5°C in Um Azimul in the middle of the afternoon while the lowest was 21.6°C in Damtha at 5.15am. 

Today Dubai temperatures will hit highs of 39°C.
