The British tourist, who made headlines for racking up AED170,000 in road fines in a rented Lamborghini has dramatically come forward and PAID the fines.

Mr Hashi infamously broke the speed limit 33 times in just under four hours and then failed to return his rental after reportedly realising the fines.

Now The National has reported the game is up – Mr Hashi met the owner of Rent A Car at a Dubai Police station and solved the dispute.

The driver will pay AED125,000 – a discounted sum

After speaking to officials, the driver and the Police reached an agreed sum.
