Two Egyptian-Irish brothers completed an impressive four hour swim over the weekend to raise awareness for a very important cause.
Taking off at 5am, the two brothers swam with the hopes of raising support and money for diabetes, an illness close to their hearts following the death of their grandfather by the disease according to the National.
Speaking to the publication they said “My grandfather died due to an illness linked to diabetes. My wife’s uncle, who had diabetes, died due to a cardiac arrest almost a year ago. They were too young to die.”
Congratulations to Sherif and Omar Saadawi on their #Swim4Charity! #Dubai #UAE
