The Cause Of The Devastating Fire In Fujairah That Killed Seven Children Has Been Released
Faulty wiring was the cause of the fire that killed seven children on Monday in Fujairah, it has been announced.
According to Fujairah Police, a short circuit in the AC due to faulty wiring was the trigger of the fire, and it was worsened by the flammable furniture in the room, causing the fire to spread to the rest of the villa.
One report stated that the fire was reported too late, and that emergency crews can respond to calls in less than four minutes.
Crews were alerted at 5.40am on Monday morning, and the seven children were found unconscious.
