As residential communities struggle to cope with damages after heavy rainfall, the founder of Emaar has addressed his valued tenants.
Mohamed Alabbar, Emaar Founder who stepped down from the Chairman position in 2020, reverred businessman and global entrepreneur took to Twitter to address maintainence issues.
This follows days of rain in the UAE, and resident reports that their villas are leaking and damaged, along with maintainance teams that have been inundated with messages, and who are ill-equipped to deal with the barrage of requests.
It’s worth noting that the majority of complaints Lovin has seen are not from Emaar property tenants. However, the property magnate was quick to annnounce that he is overssing the progress of his maintainence teams personally, adding that all units will be covered.
Dear valued Emaar tenants, our community management team is working 24/7 to assist you. I'm personally overseeing their progress and we assure you all units will be covered.

The maintenance teams belonging to the communities are struggling to cope with the number of issues reported, which has left homes without power, and water damage, for days.
One Instagram user said:
The unit is not waterproof and all the drainage is blocked. We didn’t know as well that it’s going to rain heavily, thunderstorms!! We are not prepared. Our unit is like a swimming pool as well. It’s our welcoming 2022!
Another commented:
“You should see our house 3 days no water and electricity and, the team doesn’t want to come and help”
