Residents leaving their cars on the side of the road, and letting them gather dust could land you a fine of AED500, if you’re not careful.
According to Dubai Municipality, unwashed vehicles stored for a long period on the side of the road will impose an AED500 fine to the owner of the car.

The municipality told Gulf News that drivers leaving cars unattended will get a violation notice on their vehicle, which gives owners 15 days to clean or remove the vehicle, before it incurs the AED500 fine.
The rule is to protect the city’s image and ensure Dubai remains a clean and attractive city.
