Avatar

Earlier this year we reported that Dubai International, (DXB) is the busiest airport in the world for international travel.

And today, Dubai Media Office just tweeted that the Dubai airports combined should see a total of over 100 million passengers by the end of this year. This is huge!

Dubai Airports, which manages both of Dubai’s airports – DXB and Dubai World Central (DWC) saw just over 50 million passengers in 2011 and 83 million passengers in 2016, and the goal is now 100 million by year end, this is remarkable growth in any sense of the word.

Incredible work Dubai Airports!

The extension plans for DWC have been delayed by a year

An extension which is currently in construction to make Dubai’s second largest airport, the Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC) the largest airport in the world has been delayed by a year, it was reported this week.
