Dubai Has Laid Out Simple Steps To Managing The Anticipated 1 Million Visitors During Eid Al Adha

Events in Dubai are generally so well organised (Guns N’ Roses and Sandance aside), it’s easy to forget the work that goes on behind the scenes.

But recent figures and information released by the RTA proves managing the influx of visitorsĀ is no easy task.

The RTA announced they are expecting over 350,000 visitors daily to Downtown Dubai over the Eid Al Adha break, a total of 1.05 million visitors overall, and they have laid out a plan to cope with demand.Ā 

What’s changing?

An extra 30 traffic signs, to ensure a smooth flow of traffic, to guide traffic and road users in the Burj Khalifa area

There will be 5% more taxis during peak hours

An increase in the number of bus and taxi drop offs at Dubai Mall
