If you’re in the Deira area, you may notice a big, bright and yellow addition to the Al Muraqqabat Police Station.

Visible both from the street and the sky, a big and happy smiley has now taken residence on the station’s prominent glass dome, with the aim to increase happiness among visitors.

The station wanted to create happy and positive vibes and this was deemed as the best way to do it…

The smiley is visible from helicopters and some airplanes

The director of the station said this is part of the UAE’s mission to become the world’s happiest city by 2021 and according to reports this happy face will soon be visible from many more police stations and government buildings.
