Two passengers flying from Johannesburg to Dubai were found with over AED2million of undeclared cash in their luggage, according to international reports.
The passengers were apprehended by customs officials after their checked-in luggage was found to be stuffed with cash, concealed in brown paper envelopes.
According to a report in News 24, a South African online news publication, the find is part of a wider investigation into a potential syndicate and the sensitive subject will be up for further investigation.
