Ramadan isn’t just a month on the calendar; it’s a whole experience. This year, the Community Development Authority (CDA) is leaning into that neighbourhood feel with their Season of Wulfa campaign. The goal is simple: making sure everyone, from the little ones to the hardworking labourers, feels the Ramadan spirit!

Thousands of people from every corner of the globe will be sitting down on Feb. 22 for one massive meal under the iconic Al Wasl Plaza dome. It’s a literal masterclass in tolerance and community.
Between February 23 and March 5, the local Majlises (Al Khawaneej, Nad Al Sheba, Umm Suqeim, and Hatta) are hosting The Little Reader. Through the Khair Dubai Be-Ahlaha initiative, the CDA is hiring home-based entrepreneurs to cook Iftar meals for various mosques. It’s a brilliant way to support local talent while feeding those who are fasting. Dubai’s Season of Wulfa is a reminder that while the skyline keeps growing, the heart of the city stays firmly rooted in kindness.
