Avatar

Dubai is experiencing a massive amount of jellyfish in the waters, and swimmers are advised to proceed with caution.

Jelly Blubbers are common in Dubai waters thanks to the warmer waters, and can cause some pretty severe stings.

There have been hundreds spotted around Dubai, with stings reported on Kite Beach and JBR’s The Beach.

The best treatment when stung is to apply vinegar to the stung area

(Contrary to popular belief, peeing on it doesn’t really help…)

Stay safe people!
