Dubai Municipality has issued a series of Tweets which strongly deny the rumours suggesting Maggie cubes contain chicken intestines, nails and Sodium Glutamate, which affects the brain cells of children, liver and kidneys.

The rumours are not based on fact or scientific research according to the Municipality

Residents are reminded that authorities have the authority and expertise to ensure all imported goods are fit for human consumption
