If you spotted this video doing the rounds on WhatsApp over the last few days, you weren’t the only one who was genuinely shocked. 

The video shows a man, engulfed by flames, trying to remove his clothes while people frantically rush around him trying to help. 

Reports initially suggested the video was captured in Dubai Mall, but Dubai Police have confirmed this was inaccurate reporting.

False rumours circulated that this was shot in Dubai Mall

Dubai Police have confirmed this video was not taken in Dubai Mall and residents are reminded not to spread rumours
