Dubai Police saved four teenage girls who were trapped in an elevator at a mall in Dubai for 45 minutes.
The emergency team worked quickly to get oxygen into the small elevator, an internal elevator in an unnamed mall shop, according to reports. They also provided first aid to the girls when the lift door was opened.
In a similar incident, Dubai Police also rescued a worker who had fallen into a ventilation hole, from the ninth floor to the first floor.
The 23-year-old Asian was transferred to a hospital for medical care. Both incidents prompted authorities to ensure all security personnel will be trained in first aid and rescue operations.
