Dubai Police have issued a warning not to speed when going to Iftar for the rest of Ramadan.
The warning comes as there were 48 accidents on the roads in the first week or Ramadan, killing 8 people and a total of 66 people were injured.
The timing of the accidents is as the roads get busier in the lead up to Iftar. All should take care at this time.
“Many motorists want to reach their homes just before iftar time and because of that, they commit many traffic offences like speeding and cause accidents. Most of the traffic accidents in Ramadan happen shortly before iftar,”
