‘Interrogation Rooms’ for juveniles are about to be launched by Dubai Police.
This will mean youngsters will no longer need to visit police stations.
The rooms will be multi-functional, it will be a space for officials to take statements from youngsters with the help of experts, in a safe environment according to an ARN report. Intelligence tests will also be used during interrogation, depending on the age of the child.
They will be located in malls, hotels and public places, and maintained by the nearest police station.
