Dubai Police saves the day yet again.
Fourteen Indian sailors were rescued by the police after their ship hit rocks following an engine failure during strong winds around Palm Deira.
The Ports police station received the distress call after 6am on Wednesday morning following the ship breakdown amidst roughs sea and high winds.
Dubai Police immediately jumped into action and launched a rescue mission, which was completed in just 35 minutes.
“Despite the bad weather, rough sea, we located their place and rescued them in an operation lasted for 35 minutes,” Colonel Saeed Al Madhani, deputy director of Ports police station said.
