You may remember back in January a social experiment where people were videoed seeing if they would steal a coin from the ground in Dubai went viral. Well, now, the guys behind the prank have ended up in jail. The stunt that caused the offence was an fake robbery of the Tate Britain gallery in London, as reported by the BBC.
The guys who run the‘Trollstation’‘ YouTube channel, Daniel Jarvis, 27, Helder Gomes, 23, Endrit Ferizolli, 20, and Ebenezer Mensah, 29, pleaded guilty to “two counts of using threatening, abusive, or insulting words or behavior with intent to cause fear of, or provoke unlawful violence for their involvement in the two hoaxes”.
They have performed a number of video stunts in Dubai, none of which were well received.
