This Dubai Restaurant Is Achieving Michelin Guide Fame In Another City

Dubai’s Wafi Hospitality has every reason to celebrate.

The group’s Indian restaurant Asha’s has been included in the Michelin Guide 2017, making it the first Indian restaurant in Manchester to be recognised by Michelin. What makes the achievement a little more special is that it has come in just one year after the restaurant opened.

The restaurant is not just named after legendary Indian singer Asha Bhosle. She’s actively involved in it too. Recipes for several dishes on the restaurant’s menu have been created by her. She also makes her signature masala for dishes served in all ten restaurants, by the same name, located in different cities around the world including Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

The Dubai-based group spent around AED 9.2m for the Manchester restaurant located in a historic Victorian building.
