‘Tis the season for your favourite outdoor venues to shut up shop and it looks like the newly opened Dubai Safari will follow suit for the summer months.

Whether this will be an annual summer months closure is unclear however, as it was announced on Saturday that the park will close this summer to undergo an upgrade, to offer guests a better experience.

The 12.8 million square ft park officially closes on May 15 and will reopen again on October 1. 

What will change?

Guests can expect a more interactive visit and further improvements to provide additional climatized areas for the animals will get underway.
