Dubai To Open The World’s First Underwater Floating Mosque

Avatar

Dubai has unveiled a groundbreaking AED55 million underwater floating mosque project.

Conceptualized to perfection, this innovative marvel will comprise two halves, with one gracefully floating above the water’s surface, featuring serene sitting areas and a delightful coffee shop. In contrast, the other half will be submerged beneath the azure waters.

Inside, and you’ll discover three breathtaking floors, but it’s the underwater deck that’s set to make waves. This submerged sanctuary will double as a tranquil praying area, complete with ablution facilities and washrooms, offering worshippers an extraordinary opportunity to connect with the divine beneath the sea.

The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department (IACAD) recently unveiled this ambitious project, promising an unforgettable experience for all.

Ahmed Al Mansoori, an IACAD representative, has confirmed that construction will kick off shortly, although the exact location remains a mystery for now

However, one thing’s for sure, it’ll be a bridge away from the mainland, ensuring convenient access for all worshippers.

Considering the UAE’s rich history in fishing and pearl diving, this project adds a nostalgic touch to the country’s modern developments.

This is a developing story.
