In the first quarter of this year, a record eight million ‘overnight’ tourists visited Dubai, up a huge 10.6% from the same time period last year.

Dubai’s Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (Dubai Tourism) put together these useful graphs which show a marked increase in the number of tourists to visit Dubai, however the average spend per person per night has decreased very slightly as has the average daily rate per room and the revenue per available room.

Visitors by region show Western Europe as the most frequent travelers 

India topped the list again as the top source market for visitors to Dubai
