The Dubai-based airline that bagged some highly regarded industry accolades for Airline with the Best First Class, Airline with the Best Economy Class, Airline with the Best Frequent Flyer Program and Best Airport Lounge in the Middle East was shot down by Asquith for poor service, lack of response, “false advertising” and inadequate Business Class amenities.

FYI, Emirates is famously known for its delish in-flight meals made by top chefs who plan your entrées inspired by your destination and even tweak it according to your dietary preferences.
Although the open letter to Emirates came with no requests or appeals of compensation, Asquith did request for a public apology as he did for Air Canada back in Jan.
He also asked Air Canada to donate $1000 (AED3,672.95) to help the koala bears that were affected by Australia’s devastating wildfires, adding that he would match their donation.
According to James Asquith, Air Canada was quick to respond to the criticism and offered Asquith a $500 (AED1,836.48) flight voucher as compensation – which the Brit auctioned off on his official Insta page, donating the proceeds to the Aussie wildfire relief.
