Another Phishing Email Scam Is Doing The Rounds And This Time It’s About VAT
A new phishing scam is doing the rounds in the UAE and residents would be advised to exercise caution.
Emirates NBD sent out a text to customers, advising of a scam regarding VAT refunds this week – urging customers to check the source of emails and be cautious.
Customers reportedly have received emails seeking information through fraudulent sources, that are pretending to be about the new VAT refund scheme for tourists.
