On Monday, the news of Arab owned cars in London getting graffitied broke.
London police quickly responded to the vandalism, and now shocking footage of the spray painter attacking a man in a Mercedes Benz G-Class has gone viral on social media.
An English man was spray painting words like ‘war’ on reportedly Arab owned cars in central London, near Harrods department store on Saturday evening. An Emirati man who saw the spray painter in action moved his car toward the painter to intercept the vandalism when the violent attack began.
The driver of the car was 31-year-old Emirati Abdullah Al Hosani, he has been living in the UK for three years and was hit repeatedly on the head with a can of spray paint.

“I hope God finds you in peace my brothers and sisters. Thank God, I am fine and healthy. Well what happened is obviously a reaction…we grew up knowing that we shouldn’t stay silent when we see something that is wrong…and this is something embedded within us. HH Sheikh Zayed, may god rest his soul, planted this in us. I thank everyone who asked about me and I am fine thank God.”
Despite being hit repeatedly, Al Hosani did not fight back for fear he would be blamed for the incident. He drove his car closer to the parked car, hoping to trap the painter.
Hosani suffered minor injuries after the attack.
The attacker appeared in front of Westminster Magistrate’s on Monday and was charged with assault and criminal damage, according to a report in the National.
